Great tour, excellent guide, fantastic would highly recommend
had a wonderful time thank you
I am very happy with the choice to take the small group to Ephesus. It was comfortable. A wonderful trip, great ride, nice people. Beware that even on a rainy day (as it was) the crowds are incredible and there are many large tour groups. But a sight to see in any weather. Thank you!
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
when we visited kusadasi turkey our guide yesim was marvelous and very knowledgeable. she spoke flawless english. we even had a few minutes of shopping. we would whole-heartedly recommend this company and this guide in particular.
The microlight session we had was absolutely amazing and the experience from the minute we arrived to the minute we left was fantastic. As for the instructor; well we couldn’t have wished for one better, he was very friendly, professional and most definitely a people person..
Too spoilt by tourism to be enjoyable. Main streets are all souvenir shops. Back streets with rundown houses provide nice pictures. But still, takes an entire 45 minutes to see the whole village.
There is a lot of walking so this would be a difficult tour for the elderly.
One of my favorite places in Turkey! Not too many tourists, tucked away and gives you a real feeling for Turkey (unlike Istanbul). It was absolutely perfect.
Excellent way to see the city without being in a big crowd, you call the shots on what you see and how long you stay. Great way to get your bearings around the ephesus city and the guide was very informative. Very comfortable air conditioned vehicle.
This was an attraction I almost passed on, but my flight attendant recommended it. I am so glad I went! The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them!!! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
Very satisfied with your tour guide, he provided great service.
had a wonderful time thank you
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
The village is very traditional up on the mountain. You can feel the fresh air and there are many trees arround it. Beautiful old stone houses, cute little roads leading on them. Also I liked very much the old Greeke school, which is now a restaurant. Nice pure soaps on the litte market aerea and pasminas.
I like the Sirince where the old still tries to continue to keep its ways. The market seems to be loosing its charm with stores that are geared towards the tourist but when you start walking outside the touristic areas you feel that you are now in a time capsule.
Skydiving is one of the most amazing things I have ever done. If you like an adrenaline rush then you should definitely try this sport at least once in your life-time. Part of the experience is going with a good, safe, friendly business
This charming village with its picturesque wooden houses used to be my favrored.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
Fruit wines are a speciality of the village, but we really enjoyed the Gozleme, pancakes stuffed with potato, spinach and cheese or meat each cooked in front of us on an open fire by a lovely old lady.
our guide yesim efficiently guided us through the crowds making sure that our small group of 8 arrived before the larger buses thus allowing us to get the full experience. our lunch at the carpet school was both tasty and enlightening none of us actually understood the process of collecting silk or the painstaking job of making those beautiful works of art. We wish that we were there to purchase but not this time.
A athentic & very interesting architectural design of all these old stone houses built, also knwon for the fruit wines for you to taste & buy bottles! very near by to Ephesus to private sirince tours on the mountain to this village !
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
We did not find the visit an intrusion, but rather an experience that we all enjoyed, and it was not very long. We had booked a deluxe half day tour, but we were all tired, but felt that the day had been well worth it, Ephesus was fantastic,
well worth the money!!!
You may have a good time in Sirince.
Worth going here. We had a very nice lunch. Bought some fruity wine that they are famous for. Bought jewelry and other souvenirs to take back home. The main road is cobblestone and uneven, wear comfortable shoes. With lunch we spent I think around 2 hrs visiting the place.
Thanks so much for the great day,
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
The Virgin Mary’s home was interesting, but the tour of Ephesus was fascinating and very memorable. Fortunately our tour contact suggested we also visit the Terrace Homes, another great experience. Our guides were personable and gave us great insight into that period of time. We had a lunch of Turkish favorite dishes in a beautiful outdoor setting.
I would definitely recommended, amazing
Windy , twisty road up the mountainside with rows of olive trees , nice view over the valleys . Enjoy before you get the beautiful village that is totally devoted to tourists. Upon entering the town you pay to park 3 L. Then there are many streets with all the same souvenirs ( light shirts, knitted cats, socks etc )…
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
Terrace Houses was great,
Sirince is a wonderful hill village about 8 km from Selcuk, near Ephesus. The village is known for its ottoman houses, fruit wine and olive oil. Its a charming place with narrow streets with lots of restaurants.
Done a half day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful, clean city!
Our guide was a great guide full of historical knowledge as well as answering questions about the land and people.
I especially liked the little village Sirence that we visited. The people were so friendly and the village gave us the opportunity to purchase gifts to take home that were handmade.
Found our guide outside the port (amongst a dozen others) with him holding a sign with our names. We had a very knowledgeable English speaking guide + a driver in a spacious air conditioned minivan. Very interesting archeological site.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
This is the perfect amount of time to see everything at Ephesus, especially with small kids.
Thank you very much for your recommendation.
Crafts, foods, old world bazaar type charm. A bit crowded on weekends but middle of the week is good.
This was an attraction I almost passed on, but my flight attendant recommended it. I am so glad I went! The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
Just 20 minutes from Selcuk , with very beautiful mountain road full of olive trees. Nice cafe & restaurants in village and nice fruit wines . Don't miss it.
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
Terrific tour, you will enjoy Epheus-Turkey so much more if you go on this tour.
This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..
Close to Kusadasi . This picturesque village was an afternoon delight and i have heard it is even nicer towards the end of the day to enjoy sunset and fewer people . Great vistas . The food we experienced was awesome…
Absolutely amazing tour tour guide selcuk was incredibly knowledgeable interesting, informative and personable. He made the day thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour and thank you for such a wonderful way to see this impressive famous ephesus.
My husband and I booked a private tour of Ephesus while we were in port for one day. We didn’t really like the tours offered by our cruise ship, so we opted for a customized tour. It only cost us about $20 more. Highly recommend.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
well worth the money!!!
Nestled in the mountains this small village makes you feel like you are seeing some of the real Turkey. Vine Yards a plenty and lots of wine to taste and buy, plus the usual gift shops, with small cafe's this is a great day trip for contrast against the tourist towns of Kusadasi and Bodrum.
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
Ephesus – the city established in 10 BC is a must visit for anyone having an interest in history. What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
The site is surprisingly easy to access from Selcuk (5 km) or Kusadasi (15 km)
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Booking in advance was painless and all questions and emails were answered promptly. If you arrive in Ephesus via cruise, definitely skip any excursions offered by your cruise line and book a private tour.
We made a private tours to this beautiful village Sirince. OK, it's not perfectly genuine village life because they are used to tourists' visits and they mostly work in tourism. But you can see a lot of original buildings, clothes, goods, food, hand made products etc. If you like markets, you will love this village like I do.
An excellent experience and one I would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a gift for someone interested in microlight aviaition.
Thank you very much for a lovely day. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The vehicle was impeccable.
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
YOYO 🙂
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
Our tour was incredible, we had a great time!
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
After our private tour of Ephesus, we asked our guide to take us to Sirince. After a long drive up a mountain with beautiful views, we arrived in Sirince Village. Our guide first took us to a little place for apple tea and then walked us through the oldest part of the village.
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
I sent emails asking for prices and options to create a private tour for our shore excursion. I was able to take a standard tour and customize it and it was less than half the price of the group tour shore excursion offered by our cruise. We met our private guide and driver as soon as we got off the ship. We first started with a drive out to the Virgin Mary’s House. Along the drive, we learned some interesting facts about the region and Turkey in general. Then, we reached Mary’s house and toured the site very interesting. Then it was off to Ephesus where we had a leisurely and informative tour through the amazing ruins. Make sure to get the added tour of the terrace houses. This is the most well preserved ancient ruins ever discovered.
Then it was off to St John’s Basilica and the Temple of Artimis to finish the tour. The tour was incredible and a highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend this private tour the price was very reasonable.
This was one of the best and most economical tours of our cruise and we certainly recommend that anyone visiting kusadasi consider this tour.
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.
Thanks so much for the great day, and we hope to see you again
We were surprised at how few tourists or their buses were there at this time. We stumbled on a wine bottling plant which allowed us to watch…
Sirince is a beautiful village up the mountains with breathtaking sceneries. If you visit in May-June, walking in the village is enjoyable. Mulberry tastes exquisite from the many trees in the village. Shopping is lovely, there are many homemade jams, crochets, soaps, souvenirs, shawls, fresh herbs and spices.
The Terrace Houses are amazing. Our guide gave us a very nice little gift bag with some very thoughtful souvenirs(this never happened with our cruise tours) and brochures of other destinations in Turkey that look wonderful too. Thank you
Seeing how people lived nearly 2,000 years ago and how they took advantage of what must have been considered ultra-modern science is fascinating. The housing units, while literally piled atop one another, are still separate and distinct.
a wonderful guide and a driver
While this village has been discovered by tour groups, most groups depart around 4 pm. In the late afternoon and evening wandering through the bazaar tasting the local wines and talking with the locals is wonderful. Great experience of life in a small Turkish village. Good prices on many items like dried fruits, nuts and spices.
These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
In my opinion, this is the only way to see Ephesus. Would totally recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Ephesus. well worth the money
I went there from Selcuk by mini bus. The village was small and good atmosphere. There were a lot of shops. I found a wine bar where I could do tasting first and choose the favorite one. In front of a restaurant, a boy was playing Turkish traditional drum for demonstration.
highly recommend..
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
Fantastic, only regret we didnt do the full day tour as it really is the ephesus that you want to spend time in.
If you’re staying at Selcuk town I suggest you visit this village.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
The guides were all professional, knowledgeable and personable.
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
Not far from Kusadasi and you pass Selcuk on the way so lots to see. A great day out lots of lovely restaurant and very nice shops and best of all wine tasting lots and lots of fruit wines.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
Highly recommend for his expertise and a positive can do attitude. The shops are generally too small to allow a wheelchair inside, but some goods are displayed outside.
Lovely little village with fabulous views. Bit crowded during the day, but very (too?) peaceful at night
All the places are othantic and the environment is really fresh and clear all of them beautifulll
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
Highly recommend for his expertise and a positive can do attitude. The shops are generally too small to allow a wheelchair inside, but some goods are displayed outside.
Done a day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
would strongly recommend
well worth the money!!!
We visited Sirince after Ephesus. A beautiful village high in the mountains with great views. The bizarres sold lots of local crafts and were very colourful. We had lunch in one of the many cafes and again the Turkish hospitality and kindness were great.
Definitely worth a visit.
Thanks so much for the great day, and we hope to see you again
This village( by law) is unchanged. Old wood and stucco houses , cobble stone streets, old Mosques. Plenty of tourist shopping, worth a trip to see..
well worth the money!!!
Visited as part of our Adriatic & Aegean cruise. Docked in Kusadasi and this provided a short driving tour of the area around the Ephesus site.
Buy one of the books that descibes the site as a helpful resource. The site accepts only Turkish Lira or credit card payments. There is a museum in the adjacent community where many of the original artifacts are housed. The site can become crowded during the peak tourist season and is open air so if it is hot, you’ll be out in the sun the whole time.
We Just Wanted To Let You Know We Had A Wonderful Time. Ephesus Was Amazing !
My husband and I booked a halfday private tour. This tour company was extremely professional right from the beginning, with excellent information and service. We would highly recommend this company.
Selcuk was absolutely boiling and though probably we didn't really have time to see what Sirince was really in effect just another village that we been able to see on our travels almost anywhere else it did have some very cute and interesting old wooden houses that I enjoyed photographing.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
We had a very nice lunch there as part of the tour a super experience I highly recommend this tour
Sirince is pretty and a good day out, the fruit wines are lovely and so it their local reds. Its not over priced wines either!
We found Sirince to be a lovely, rustic village that simply exudes charm. We stayed two nights in the guesthouse. It is in the lower village near the market and provides arresting views of the village sweeping up the mountainside. Everyone in the village was very friendly..
we had a great time at ephesus. lovely day 🙂
Completely silent and peaceful.
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
Our guide sat and chatted with us the entire way to Ephesus about Turkish history, lifestyle, and some chitchat. At Ephesus she gave as a solid, amazing tour.
We Just Wanted To Let You Know We Had A Wonderful Time. Ephesus Was Amazing !
Our group of 6 adults added this village to our day-long tour of Ephesus – and we're glad we did! It is a beautiful ride up the mountain to visit this lush Turk-Greek town. The small streets are lined with stand of families or small businesses selling a variety of wines, olive oil and products.
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
It feels a little displaced as a town, but considering it was created for Turks who were forcibly repatriated in the 1920s, they've made a good go of it. Quaint and lovely. Quiet at night.
I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
We greatly enjoyed our half day tour I definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
The tour was very reasonably priced compared to those offered by our cruise ship. We really appreciated the personal touch only afforded by a small group tour. I would strongly suggest that anyone traveling to Ephesus. You won’t be disappointed.
It was wonderful to be in such a small group of people. There was no stress related to our tour whatsoever.
highly recommend..
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
thank you so much for an amazing trip
Great day trip with Burcu, a fun and informative Guide. I would have liked more time in ephesus. I will skip the temple of artemis next time.
Don’t go without a guide. Very good value!
we had a great trip thank you very much
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
We did a private tour of Ephesus, The Terrace Houses and Sirince Vilalge and it was an amazing day and the views in Sirince were great. We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. The private tour was by far one of the best we have ever had, and was comparable to the larger ship tours.
A quick and pleasant drive up to this quaint village was worth it. (We did not go to Ephesus!) Started our day with Turkish coffee and some treats and then walked around the village for some shopping (spices, dried apricots and figs) as well as some great views. We avoided the "touristy" places and really enjoyed the perfect weather.
Sirince is a very beautiful village with narrow alleys & some wineries that offer you try some fruit wines made there.
If you're staying at Selcuk town I suggest you visit this village..
The van was very nice and huge for passengers.
Several factors made this all day tour of Ephesus well worth the money. knowledgable guide, delicious lunch, and plenty of time to enjoy the sights. I recommend this tour.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
Several factors made this all day tour of Ephesus well worth the money. knowledgable guide, delicious lunch, and plenty of time to enjoy the sights. I recommend this tour.
Ephesus was absolutely beautiful. My first time to Turkey and I’m so inlove with this beautiful city and all that it has to offer.
Highly recommend for his expertise and a positive can do attitude. The shops are generally too small to allow a wheelchair inside, but some goods are displayed outside.
We chose a private guided tour rather than a ship excursion and would highly recommend the deluxe ephesus fullday tour.
Our day went perfectly, our guide was open and flexible to letting us tour at our own pace and we always seemed at least two steps ahead of the large tour groups..
From the moment our tou guide picked us up at the hotel until she dropped us in the afternoon she was helpful and flexible. It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money.
We did a private half day tour of Ephesus, We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. Thanks
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
Thank you very much for the most wonderful day.
a wonderful guide and a driver
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
The tour was very reasonably priced compared to those offered by our cruise ship. We really appreciated the personal touch only afforded by a small group tour. I would strongly suggest that anyone traveling to Ephesus. You won’t be disappointed.
Small group which makes a difference when visiting a large places and even though small group appreciated the hearing pieces from the group leader.
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
We had a marvellous time. all the things and surprises they are really too amazing.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
We had a terrific day our tour was flawlessly performed from start to finish.
Wonderful! Yesim was a great guide. Loved everyone minute of it.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
Terrace Houses was great,
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
Great halfday ephesus trip with a small group. Our guide was wonderful. Thanks
Ephesus was our favorite port of call. Our guide was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about everything from antiquities, to agriculture, and even funny the tour is much less expensive than the ship offerings and far superior in terms of attention.
This was mainly an old 19th century Greek village before the population exchange between Greece and Turkey in 1923. Small, charming, located on a hill top with a pleasant market selling among other things olive oil soaps made locally, olive oil, wines and spices.
Walk the cobblestone alleys, admire the Ottoman houses, make the effort to go up…
The line was incredible the day we were there so very happy we booked the tour. Well worth the money. Lunch was quite good also.
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus. We had a great time. Thanks
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
The staff is very friendly and patient. My son wanted to try this. My son said it has been the best experience ever.
Very clean and very professional. I would recommend it to anyone. You must do this at least one in your life according to my son.
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
Be sure to try the wine tasting and buy some bottles, especially the pomegrante wine!
Terrace Houses was great,
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
Outstanding, our guide was great.
Local goods include handmade felt products, wines, and olive oils to name only the most popular.
The streets, shops, cafe's and restaurants are basic and serve simple, tasty local food with fresh herbs and flavours.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
After visiting the House of Mary, we drove to the historic ruins at the city of Ephesus. We saw all the things on our wish list, plus things we did even know about. We left the ruins and went to a carpet factory and saw firsthand how the carpets are hand tied. Then we had lunch, in a lovely garden setting, featuring traditional Turkish dishes, delicious a private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
We enjoyed the whole trip and would do it again. Thanks
Our tour was incredible, we had a great time!
The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
Thanks so much for the great day
My husband and I had arranged the tour in advance of our arrival by cruise ship. We made the arrangements via e-mail and all of our questions were responded to quickly and professionally.
We generally book tours through the cruise line but are so glad we make the choice to do this private tour. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
Sirince Village ( ?irince Köyü)
This was well worth the money. Emrah was the bet tour guide. Very professional (he was in a suit) and so very nice and friendly. All in all this was the best tour we did.
Sirince is a nice contrast to ruins, history, and the "hustle and bustle" of Kusadasi. It's a fairly short drive up into the hills surrounding Selcuk, although the roads are narrow with lots of tight curves.
We booked a half day deluxe ephesus tour with this company which went off without a hitch, meeting all of our expectations our guide was the charming yesim whose english was very good she did her best to move us away from the crowds at various points at ephesus and gave clear explanations of the many wonderful exhibits there terrace houses and celsus library. We also went to the house of virgin Mary
All in all, a very enjoyable half day. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
You must try the restaurants in sirince you will not regret it.
My wife and I recently returned from a 10 day cruise. Based on ratings of this site, we decided to book a private tour of ephesus instead of opting for the cruise option. It was a great decision on our part. In booking the tour, all questions were answered promptly, and we were provided all the needed information. We met our guide at the dock. I would highly recommend.
the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
This is a great tour. The car is new and clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
my children and I had a great time thank you
The tour was very reasonably priced compared to those offered by our cruise ship. We really appreciated the personal touch only afforded by a small group tour. I would strongly suggest that anyone traveling to Ephesus. You won’t be disappointed.

Our tour guide was right on time picking us up directly at the port. My husband and I were part of a total party of 8, perfect for us to enjoy Ephesus without a bus load of people. This is definitely the way to see Ephesus.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
We loved our personal guided small group trip to Ephesus Turkey. Lunch was included with this pkg and was very good. Thanks
Ephesus was our favorite port of call. Our guide was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about everything from antiquities, to agriculture, and even funny the tour is much less expensive than the ship offerings and far superior in terms of attention.
The tour began at approximately 8:30 and we were told it would be approximately 5 hours. We did not arrive back to port until after 2:30, so it made for a very long day.
Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
Thank you Yesim for an incredible time. Your knowledge is most impressive. For anyone who reads this and is planning a trip to Turkey, you can not go wrong with using this company. We were never rushed or pressured into buying anything and even got to see a fashion show. This is something I never thought I would enjoy but it was pretty cool. When going to Ephesus do not miss out on the Terrace Houses they are most impressive and unbelievable. They are the homes of the very rich of the day with indoor hot and cold water, heated homes, indoor bathrooms and even a sauna with heated floors. The rug making tour was very cool, the lunch was awsome and got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thanks
Sirince, is a quaint Turkish village, set in the hills. Here you can enjoy wondering around the old stone houses, eat local food, and taste their famous wines. There is also a market place, selling all their local produce and souveniers. Well worth a visit!
the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
Definitely worth the money to get the private tour.
The price of our private tour was much less than the tours provided by our ship, The Norwegian Jade. It was a great tour.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
We had a terrific day our tour was flawlessly performed from start to finish.

The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
Thank you very much for your recommendation.
In my opinion, this is the only way to see Ephesus. Would totally recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Ephesus. well worth the money
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. We had a great time!

Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
Charming place, taste the local wine, eat local food, visit the church, look at the panorama. To get the real taste of the village, I suggest you to stay there at least one night, when it is completely silent and peaceful.
thank you so much for an amazing trip
Our tour guide gave us several options. My husband and I immediately chose the resort frequented mostly by Turks.
when we visited kusadasi turkey our guide yesim was marvelous and very knowledgeable. she spoke flawless english. we even had a few minutes of shopping. we would whole-heartedly recommend this company and this guide in particular.
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
Thank you very much for the most wonderful day.
We spent the day in Ephesus with our guide Irem. She was excellent! She went with us in to the sites and explained what we were seeing. Turkey is absolutely beautiful and a place I would love to visit again. We toured the ruins in Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, and the church of St. John. We could have done without the carpet shop and leather factory, but overall the day was perfect. Our lunch was very good and was included in the price of the tour. I would definitely recommend this for those of you with a one day stop in Turkey on a cruise ship.

Doing a tour with only 8 people was wonderful. Ephesus is gorgeous.
We had a wonderful time on our tour of Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. Our guide, Yesim, was so nice and a very knowledgeable tour guide. There were only 7 of us on the tour and we really had a nice time meeting the other people on our tour.
Thank you very much – we had a great time!
would strongly recommend
If I had oppurtunity, I would love to live in this lovely village in the rest of my life
We were very pleased with our tour to Ephesus and the Terrace Houses for sure, include this in your tour!! We were concerned because we requested it only about 5 days before we left for our cruise. They responded very quickly and we confirmed the reservation. We also appreciated that we were able to pay after the trip, so we did not have to worry about paying then no one showing up.
Thanks so much for the great day, and we hope to see you again
highly recommend..

This village perfect, great, wonderfull. If you looking for a nice village and naturel rich place, here is number one of the world. many place in turkey like that. Especailly I like homes and nature.
🙂
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
This village is a "must see" if you get the chance. Great views, lovely little restaurants up the mountainside and you taste all the fruitwines in the village shops.
These guys were great. My wife drug me kicking and screaming to do this. The whole operation was top notch. Instructors were top notch, made you feel comfortable and loads of fun to be around..Skydiving is recommended.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
We went by private car to Sirince, courtesy of the hotel we were staying at in Selcuk. I had read a few travel articles about the village and was looking forward to spending some time wandering the streets and just "getting a feel" for the place.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
This was an attraction I almost passed on, but my flight attendant recommended it. I am so glad I went! We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus. We had a great time. Thanks
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us the best places to get photos of various things. At several attractions, he let us have time to ourselves to walk around.
I highly recommend getting your own, private tour with this company when you dock in Kusadasi. It’s much better than getting on a crowded bus and waiting for other people in your party.
Comapred to the villages in the Greek islands, there not much to see or do. It was a great stop after Ephesus, but I don't consider it a destination on it's own. Touristy village, where buses will stop with their masses of people.
Travelled to turkey last week and decided to book a private tour for my family, it was excelled. Brilliant sites and ruins, tour guide spoke brilliant English and was a lot of fun.
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Booking in advance was painless and all questions and emails were answered promptly.
The tour was incredible and a highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend this tour company as they were very professional and the price was very reasonable.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????.

We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus. We had a great time. Thanks
lunch was great, ephesus was a great place to visit we had a wonderful day.
Quiet and beautiful place in nature. Fresh air, delicious fruit wines.
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
Thanks so much for the great day
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
Excellent, even with some weather problems we were able to reschedule without hassle.
Driver was very friendly and knowledgable

We enjoyed the whole trip and would do it again. Thanks
In Izmir, we were picked up right at the cruise ship at the appointed time and boarded a large van for just the four of us. You can book the tour on-line ahead of time, and you can pick and choose the sights you want to see. Overall, more reasonable than the ship tours, and a lot more flexibility, this tour company is great.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
We spent a good amount of time at ancient ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go. There were many group tours that would crowd around their guide to get a glimpse of what he/she was pointing out. With a private tour, you are able to set the pace with your guide and skip what you aren’t that interested in. We also visited the House of the St Mary, Temple of Artemis. It was a full day that did not disappoint and well worth the expense.
What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
Yesim was interesting, informative and a wonderful guide. Our entire family enjoyed the day. Yesim made adjustments for our daughter’s unexpected injury and wheelchair. We could not have seen ephesus on our own because of logistics and in hindsight we are glad we booked the day trip. Our three teenagers had fun and we were glad to hear Yesim explanations.
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
Thank you very much for the most wonderful day.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money. Thank you very much.
This rural hillside town takes you back 50 years. Definitely worth a short drive up into the mountains from Ephesus. We had dessert and wine at Artemis, an old schoolhouse turned into a winery. It was chock full of character and old world charm, and the service was great.
We had a terrific day our tour was flawlessly performed from start to finish.
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
Terrific tour, you will enjoy Epheus-Turkey so much more if you go on this tour.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
I would definitely recommended, amazing
As I said in an earlier review, imagine little Greek houses plunked down in the middle of the Italian countryside and that's Sirince.
This little village is at the end of a hilltop road, one that is dotted with olive trees, small farms, fruit orchards, and any number of sheep. Sirince is full of whitewashed buildings, narrow roads more suited…
I was very glad we choose private tour to ephesus. Thanks
we really had a great time. thanks
highly recommend..
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
well worth to visit, the terrace houses are interestin. loved ephesus itself.
This was one of the best and most economical tours of our cruise and we certainly recommend that anyone visiting kusadasi consider this tour.
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
If you like Historical ruins you must see Apollon temple (didiyma) miletus and priene in 1 day next day you can visit ephesus and Mary house, and another day you can visit the sirince and the ephesus museum in selcuk.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
We were going to Kusadasi for vacation, and I told my wife I wanted to skydive, possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity. My wife, after seeing the safe and proffessional operation, decided to do her first tandem skydive. She loved it. I would like to thank the team for an experience I will never forget, throughout my skydiving career.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
a wonderful guide and a driver
Visited as part of our Adriatic & Aegean cruise. Docked in Kusadasi and this provided a short driving tour of the area around the Ephesus site.
Buy one of the books that descibes the site as a helpful resource. The site accepts only Turkish Lira or credit card payments. There is a museum in the adjacent community where many of the original artifacts are housed. The site can become crowded during the peak tourist season and is open air so if it is hot, you’ll be out in the sun the whole time.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful city
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Even just outside the peak tourist season, Sirince was very busy on a Friday evening. Lots of kitschy souvenirs, but the locally made fruit wines were pleasant. The air was cooler than down below in Selcuk and this made for a very enjoyable evening.
I would highly recommend great experience to anyone, and I am pleased to say that I had a great time
We really enjoyed the trip. Thank you very much
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
???????????400???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
use this tour company they are very professional
a wonderful guide and a driver
Sirince lacked the huge tourist crowds we experienced on our cruise. We visited Ephesus and then had a nice relaxing lunch in Sirince. They had a market area with friendly vendors, quite content to say hi and let you peruse the goods.
This is a true Turkish mountain town that is full of history. While we were there, the town was preparing for a wedding later that night. There are merchants, and little places to eat, mixed in with small bed and breakfast like hotels. The streets are cobblestone, and the hills are steep. You will see tablefuls of Turkish men, enjoying…
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
We would definitely recommend this private tour
Very organized tour. The tour guide was great. Ephesus was beautiful. I would recommend this private tour to everyone.
It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money. Thank you very much.
we had a great time at ephesus. lovely day 🙂
We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour.
One of the highlights of our 10 day cruise was a trip to Ephesus and Sirince. This is a lovely little mountain village in Turkey where people go about their business and are willing to welcome visitors without any pretensions, commercial tourism or pushy sales tactics. Wonderful little old town square with coffee places, shops and bistros.
This village still boasts the typical stalls with olive oil, wine, leather goods, clothing, etc. But the people in Sirince were a little less pushy than in the larger areas. Saffron was a particularly good value there!
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.

Nice village, taste local fruit wines, one day visit is enough, very suitable destination when you drive from northwest to southwest Turkey.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
thank you for a wonderful tour of ephesus it truly was the best part of my vacation.
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
Our tour guide Selcuk did a great job of taking us through Ephesus and describing the site. It was definitely much better than doing a large group tour. The bus met us at the port when our ship docked and they got us back in plenty of time to catch the ship prior to departure. Definitely worth the money to get the private tour.
Lovely little wine village, cobbled streets and shops where you can see the glass blower at work, taste the wine and see pottery being made.
We had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend
Thank you very much – we had a great time!
On the whole Ephesus is a fantastic place to visit but my tour was disappointing due to a rushed timeline and missing attraction.
Loved Ephesus itself, its well worth any visit! The terrace houses are interesting and so its good to confirm that portion of the tour is included.
It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money. Thank you very much.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
You'll fall in love with this village in the mountains of Turkey. It's like it had stood still in time. Great restaurants with fresh food, local markets, children in the streets playing, locals selling their locally made wears. All fun. The view of the hillside rooftops and surrounding trees are beautiful. A must see.
Located close to Selcuk and Ephesus, Sirince is a small village famous for its fruit wine. An overnight alternative to the more popular Kusadasi for travelers visiting Ephesus, Sirince offers the right mix of "country" and amenities. There are enough restaurants that diners will not get bored.
I was very glad we choose private tour to ephesus. Thanks
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
We did not find the visit an intrusion, but rather an experience that we all enjoyed, and it was not very long. We had booked a deluxe half day tour, but we were all tired, but felt that the day had been well worth it, Ephesus was fantastic,
This is a quaint little village going up a hillside about 20minutes from Ephesus.
Thanks
Skydiving was the single coolest experience of our lives and this was the best place for it. Their safety record is impeccible. The staff was super friendly and cool. We had a fantastic time.
Our first ever micro lighting experience and what a place to do it.
We booked the 15min trip which was enough time to get a very different perspective of Ephesus.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Booking in advance was painless and all questions and emails were answered promptly.
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
Sirince is a smaller town near Selcuk and a perfect base to visit Ephesus. The town has its own bazaar selling hand-made goods of high quality. There are small restauarants and a number of little, quirky hotels. It is very peaceful and set in beautifual countryside.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
Great place for wine tasting and purchasing some nice souveniers.
We used this tour instead of booking a tour through the cruise company. We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus and The Virgin Mary’s house. We were also taken to a carpet maker to see how carpets were made and lunch. The carpet demonstration was interesting however, I did feel uncomfortable not making a purchase.
Our turkish guide, koksal, is a native of ephesus who speaks English and japanese he was outgoing, friendly, interested in his guests, and extremely knowledgeable of the history of ephesus. excellent
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
We chose a private guided tour rather than a ship excursion and would highly recommend the deluxe ephesus fullday tour.
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
excellent tour..
Regards to Yesim and many thanks for a super day.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
There were 6 adults in our group. They picked us up at port they will bringing the wheelchair with. Very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. We had our own personal tour of Ephesus then a wonderful lunch. The site is difficult for wheelchairs due to the uneven marble road.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
It's quaint, but totally commercialized, with tiny shops/stands one after the other all the way up the narrow, cobbled streets to the very top. Had a lovely dinner al fresco at a restaurant on the right side of the street just a block before the bus stop as you enter town. Easy to get to on the bus from Selcuk.
We enjoyed the whole trip and would do it again. Thanks
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
The price of our private tour was much less than the tours provided by our ship, The Norwegian Jade. It was a great tour.
It took about 30 min easy drive from port of Kusadasi to Sirince, a peaceful village with friendly people and authentic small restaurants.
It's a nice village in a beautiful hilly location. Full of boutique hotels and simple-but-good restaurants. Cooler than the close by Ephesus, I recommend it as a relaxing break from archeology/beach wandering.
thank you so much for an amazing trip
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
Once beautiful, serene and picturesque village turned into a tourist trap. The museum (once a school) was somewhat interesting, other than that, nothing special.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
This former greek/turk village has been conserved by the Turks. and has a Armenian population as well. A bit shabby but the relative conservation of the village is worth the visit. You can buy saffron and thyme all grown in the surrounding hills. Try some fruit wines.
I was the only person from my hotel to take this trip. It wasn't really promoted, just a black and white photocopied leaflet, in my welcome pack at the hotel. I was collected by a coach from another hotel, with their guests/guide. For me, this was my highlight. It is like time has stood still here.
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
A great way to spend a couple of hours wandering through a small village in the mountains, especially if you like the market
It seemed like a tourist trap really, theres very little to see and a few overpriced shops, cant say we were so impressed.
Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
A small village we stopped at whilst on a tour of Ephesus. It was a nice relaxing place to have lunch and afternoon tea, as not too crowded when we were there. Lots of quaint little "touristy" shops, and the people in them were friendly.
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
Driver was very friendly and knowledgable
It is a definite must see. Great way to see experience an authentic turksih village. The people were pleasant and had gret products!
Sirince is beautiful and people are nice. The wines were good too and we bought some excellent soaps in one of the merchants.
It's not always about going to the attractions, but you should also visit the locals & feel their way of life… Sirince is one place like that… We went into the village & met these two old age women, friends of ours, with whom we later roamed around… Fruits, clothing, nice restaurants & WINE is what you'll find the most……
beautiful little village with 600 year old history
busy during the day with tours but lovely in the evenings
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
Great. Knowledgable guide. Would recommend a full day at Ephesus so that you aren’t rushed. I only saw the front of the Terrace houses on the half day ephesus tour.
Great guides. Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!! Save money! Meet fun people!
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
I visited this lovely village when i 've been in Selcuk/Izmir . There is a big wine company, so you can see many winehouse around the village. They make fruit wines there. Friendly people, lovely atmosphere. Nice place to visit. But dangerous road between Selcuk and Sirince. Be careful if u drive.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I liked the setting, the views, the people, and the winding streets.
We recently took a private tour to Sirince. Unfortunately, this is the only way to get to this hilltop village about 10 Kms east of Selcuk. We spent an entire Sunday afternoon browsing the outdoor stalls and shops. There are some wonderful restaurants to…
Sirince is a beautiful hill town only 8 km (5 miles) east of Selcuk, near Ephesus, in the Aegean hinterland south of Izmir. It's famous for its olive oil, fruit wines, other natural products, and its charming, restful boutique hotels. It's an amazing place to visit.
A necessity! We were debating doing a tour or trying to manage by ourselves, booking the tour was the best decision. Our guide Koksal was very organized and knowledgeable, and with the crowds it was important to be with someone who could explain and the headsets were a great asset. Lunch was good.A Wonderful day.
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
my children and I had a great time thank you
We enjoyed the whole trip and would do it again. Thanks
Mostly tourist shops in a village that is up a difficult mountain road. Close on the map to Selcuk, but the road adds a good half hour going to Ephesus, or anywhere else.
Gunes was an excellent guide for our day, the small group interaction was refreshing. Put this on your list !
I would definitely recommend this tour!
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was AMAZING. You have to try it…
We were taken here by our tour guide during our day-long tour of Ephesus /Kusadasi. Without the tour arrangement, it would have been difficult to visit this place along with other more popular sights in Ephesus. Apart from the market and the shops, which are interesting by themselves, it was good to explore the streets up the hill and look…
Our visit to ephesus was great as well as educational made possible by our terrific tour guide personality as well as her mastery of the English language made the day a delightful one. We wish we could have her for all the tours we take!!
Great tour, excellent guide, fantastic would highly recommend
This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..
lunch was great, ephesus was a great place to visit we had a wonderful day.
Ephesus – the city established in 10 BC is a must visit for anyone having an interest in history. What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.

Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
The trip was very well organized and our guide was excellent. We didn’t have to wait in long lines even though the ephesus was crowded. Our guide was very knowlegable and the little mini-headsets made the tour most enjoyable.
the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
If you're in the region you should make an effort to visit this interesting village in the hills above Selcuk. The main town is car free during the day and it is a pleasant walk around the town to look at the buildings and peruse the shops. There are several local wines for sale and a good selection of restaurants…
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
We did a private tour of Ephesus and Sirince Village was an amazing day. A fabulous day! Thank you Burcu..
Small Group Day Trip to Ephesus was one of the highlights of our trip overseas. Having the small group was brilliant, as we didn’t have to wait in queues or line-ups and our driver and guide Selcuk was fantastic. He was very informative, professional and most helpful.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
Ephesus is one of the most interesting of all the Greek cities on the Asia Minor Peninsula. We had a great tour. Thanks
I would highly recommend
We spent a good amount of time at ancient ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go. There were many group tours that would crowd around their guide to get a glimpse of what he/she was pointing out. With a private tour, you are able to set the pace with your guide and skip what you aren’t that interested in. We also visited the House of the St Mary, Temple of Artemis. It was a full day that did not disappoint and well worth the expense.
Our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and even adjusted the tour a bit to satisfy what we wanted to see. highly recommend it.
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
Very interesting and informative trip. The tour guide was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable in the history of ephesus. Highly recommend this!
We spent a few hours wandering around this pretty rural, quiet (depite lots of tourists – get off the main street). We had a good resonably priced lunch at Demetriou's Restaurant near the entrance to to village.
I’ve been to Ephesus before but have only done the half day tour so really wanted to spend the day there and see more. The tour was well-organised and really nice as we were in a small group which allowed us to ask lots of questions to our guide. I think if you go to Ephesus do the deluxe full day tour so you can see the Terrace Houses and House of Virgin Mary which is fascinating!
Definitely worth the money to get the private tour.
We had a wonderful time and thank you so much for everything.
If you arrive in Ephesus via cruise, definitely skip any excursions offered by your cruise line and book a private tour with Ephesus Tours. Not only is it much cheaper, it’s more comfortable, private, and you can go at your own pace.
My family and I took a deluxe half day tour just last week. Our guide was excellent friendly knowledgeable and very funny and very comfortable Mercedes that felt more like a limo than a van.
We visited the Ephesus ruins first fantastic. The terrace houses wa great I highly recommend, especially if you’re interested in art.
We then visited the house of the virgin mary. It’s actually a church built on the foundations of the house, not the actual house itself. Maybe the experience would be more inspiring or impressive to someone religious, but to me the actual site was pretty ho-hum. But the views during the drive there are spectacular, and that alone makes the trip worthwhile.
But overall, everything was great. We had a wonderful time in Ephesus Turkey and would definitely recommend this tour!
What an absolutely fantastic day it was my 38 th birthday and I couldn’t have spent it in any better way! Our guide Selcuk was very knowledgeable and entertaining, lunch was delicious and Ephesus magical especially the Terrace Houses and House of Virgin Mary. Could have stayed forever.:) All in all a very well organised private tour.
A fabulous day! Thank you
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
my children and I had a great time thank you
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
I highly recommend them, you will not regret it.
Ephesus tours was fantastic. they picked us up at the ship and we began a day of absolute perfection. we had toured Ephesus before on a prior cruise and used the tour from the cruise line. This time around wanted a more personal feel to our tour. There were specific places we wanted to visit and places we wanted to go back too.
I would go back and do the same tour all over again. the amount of history, customs and real life experiences we recieved made it a very special day.
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
We went to Sirince in winters when it was not much of a tourist season so town had a half sleepy feel to it..However I found it a very pretty small town setting worth visitng for say 3-4 hours..
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
a wonderful guide and a driver
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
Exellent, the guide, gave us (smal group of 6 persons) very detailed information about the ephesus. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience and would highly recommend both the tour and Selcuk to anyone visiting Ephesus.
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
Sirence (pronounced Sir-en-jay) is a picturesque greek village just 30 minutes outside Kusadasi. privatetour.net offer half day trips there but it is often over looked by most tourists in favour of water parks etc.
It is definitely worth a visit for a relaxed day sightseeing and wine tasting. I wouldn't recommend it.
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
We have travelled a lot but we have never used a tour guide before so we were a little skeptical. We also had an offer from another tour operator and it was pretty much the same price. We had a fantastic day, It was amazing.
great ephesus was very exciting our tour guide was very experienced
We had two nights in this lovely hill top village. Make sure you wander further up the hill where it is less touristy.
We have read some very poor reviews of this excellent tourist site. It is a charming hillside village about 20 minutes from Selcuk and Ephesus – OK, it can get a bit busy when the tour buses arrived off the cruise ships from Kusadasi but just settle into one of the small cafes with a tea or coffee.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
A small Turkish wine and olive town in the mountains. Friendly atmosphere and great weather. Sirince is the Sonoma of the Mediterranean. Forget Italy. Forget Greece. GO to TURKEY!
These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
thank you so much for an amazing tripnks
Thanks
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
This is the second time I was here and I loved it both times.
We started the day by visiting Ephesus and went into the back entrance, which was incredibly smart because it meant we were going against the crowds and that we had the wonderful amphitheater mostly to ourselves. Our price included all entrance fees, including into the Terrace Houses, which were definitely a highlight of the day and the House of Virgin Mary.
We enjoyed our day, learned a lot, and felt the price to be very fair. Many on our cruise ship simply took Royal Caribbean’s shore excursion and missed out on several of the things we saw…
