I would highly recommend great experience to anyone, and I am pleased to say that I had a great time
This is a relatively new part of Ephesus to tour – you see archeologists uncovering more treasure sites as you go from level to level. Beautiful and breathtaking is the best way to describe it! The only problem is that people with disabilities really cannot tour this as lots of steps and climbing is required.
There is a lot of walking so this would be a difficult tour for the elderly.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful city
We did a private tour of Ephesus, The Terrace Houses and Sirince Vilalge and it was an amazing day and the views in Sirince were great. We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. The private tour was by far one of the best we have ever had, and was comparable to the larger ship tours.
Ephesus – the city established in 10 BC is a must visit for anyone having an interest in history. What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
The site is surprisingly easy to access from Selcuk (5 km) or Kusadasi (15 km)
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
well worth the money!!!
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
We had a wonderful time and thank you so much for everything.
Ephesus was magnificant. The guide was on time, This was a good trip.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
We booked a privatetour while on a cruise. We requested a visit to the Terrace Houses and we are glad we did. It was very interesting to see how the rich lived in ancient times. Most large tour groups don't tour the houses because they are not set up for large groups.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us the best places to get photos of various things. At several attractions, he let us have time to ourselves to walk around.
I highly recommend getting your own, private tour with this company when you dock in Kusadasi. It’s much better than getting on a crowded bus and waiting for other people in your party.
We had a Mercedes van and were very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour…
Visited as part of our Adriatic & Aegean cruise. Docked in Kusadasi and this provided a short driving tour of the area around the Ephesus site.
Buy one of the books that descibes the site as a helpful resource. The site accepts only Turkish Lira or credit card payments. There is a museum in the adjacent community where many of the original artifacts are housed. The site can become crowded during the peak tourist season and is open air so if it is hot, you’ll be out in the sun the whole time.
Most people walk through Ephesus and skip the Terrace Houses. They are missing the best part of the whole site. You also get to see active excavation and restoration work in process. The seven houses now excavated are amazing and give a great glimpse into the life of the elite of Ephesus. The mosaics and art is amazing.
Ephesus was our favorite port of call. Our guide was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about everything from antiquities, to agriculture, and even funny the tour is much less expensive than the ship offerings and far superior in terms of attention.

Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
The beauty, remarkable preservation, and historical significance of Ephesus cannot be overstated. The best preserved glimpsed into the lives of the Ephesian elite lies under unassuming plastic coverings on the slope of a hill… If you have made the trek to Ephesus, spare no expense to see the Terrace Houses.
This part of excavations has a separate entrance and takes an extra ticket. The exposition arranged in a separate roofed pavilion and there are a lot of steps you need to pass up and down. A lot of houses and other structures are unearthed and preserved there with their unique mosaics and frescoes.
Great!
This is a fantastic way to visit ephesus. It is a fantastic day even the food was excellent and our tour guide was great. Done a day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
We had no idea what we were about to see when we reached the Terrace Houses. This remarkable "dig" (excavation) has been completely roofed over while the excavation continues. The cover helps protect the 3000+ year old remains, including the tile colors.
YOYO 🙂
Done a day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
We loved seeing inside the homes of the ancient people who lived in those houses. There is a lot of preservation happening at the site. You can still see the frescos and tiles – how can that be after so many thousands of years? The ticket cost is extra from Ephesus and well worth it.

Ephesus tours was fantastic. they picked us up at the ship and we began a day of absolute perfection. we had toured Ephesus before on a prior cruise and used the tour from the cruise line. This time around wanted a more personal feel to our tour. There were specific places we wanted to visit and places we wanted to go back too.
I would go back and do the same tour all over again. the amount of history, customs and real life experiences we recieved made it a very special day.
Ephesus is one of the most interesting of all the Greek cities on the Asia Minor Peninsula. We had a great tour. Thanks
I would definitely recommend this tour!
Great experience. Took me back to previous trip to Pompeii. Terrace houses is a separate entrance fee and is located inside the ruins of Ephesus. Allow 1-1 1/2 hrs. Visited with a guide. A lot of going up and down steps. Place is well taken care of and has a roof.
The tour began at approximately 8:30 and we were told it would be approximately 5 hours. We did not arrive back to port until after 2:30, so it made for a very long day.
Wow! What a place. Our guide was knowledgable and took his time with us. I learned so many things and had a great time. You have to visit Ephesus !!
We had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend

Make sure you afford yourself enough time and buy the ticket to the Terrace Houses. Covered beneath a modern structure, the terrace house excavations afford you a chance to see how the wealthy lived nearly 3000 years ago. Central heating, views and spectacular mosaics sure set them apart from the other residents.

We did a private half day tour of Ephesus, We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. Thanks
???????????????????????????????????????????????????
We visited the the Terrace Houses last October. It is an extra cost on top of the regular tour into Ephesus. The houses are located within the ancient town of Ephesus. We were actually past the Houses before it was brought to the attention of the tour guide that we had paid to see them.
Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
Thank you Yesim for an incredible time. Your knowledge is most impressive. For anyone who reads this and is planning a trip to Turkey, you can not go wrong with using this company. We were never rushed or pressured into buying anything and even got to see a fashion show. This is something I never thought I would enjoy but it was pretty cool. When going to Ephesus do not miss out on the Terrace Houses they are most impressive and unbelievable. They are the homes of the very rich of the day with indoor hot and cold water, heated homes, indoor bathrooms and even a sauna with heated floors. The rug making tour was very cool, the lunch was awsome and got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thanks

🙂
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
The trip was great, very well organized from the beginning to the end. The transportation very comfortable and we loved our guide, was a great experience and enabled us to see the ephesus and virgin mary house, learn about the most beautiful history in the world the history of ephesus. Thank you and we would definitely recommend this option to anyone interested in visiting ephesus.
The guides were all professional, knowledgeable and personable.
Love it ! Ephesus is simply beautiful. We had no trouble understanding our guide. Lunch wasn’t fantastic but everything else is good!
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
The terrace houses are covered up by a tent like structure so from the outside they do not seem worth visiting. There is a fee so sometimes some tours do not include the visit. You will walk on plexi glass over excavated sites but although I am afraid of heights I had no problems.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
esperame turquia, efesoooo
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
my children and I had a great time thank you
We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour.
would strongly recommend
Ephesus is amazing and overwhelming but don't miss this beautiful presented museum of these ancient homes. You won't be disappointed
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
we had a great time at ephesus. lovely day 🙂
Love it ! Ephesus is simply beautiful. We had no trouble understanding our guide. Lunch wasn’t fantastic but everything else is good!
We were very pleased with our tour to Ephesus and the Terrace Houses for sure, include this in your tour!! We were concerned because we requested it only about 5 days before we left for our cruise. They responded very quickly and we confirmed the reservation. We also appreciated that we were able to pay after the trip, so we did not have to worry about paying then no one showing up.
The preservation effort ongoing at the Terrace Houses is extraordinary! They had reassembled a large area of this feature like a giant jigsaw puzzle. It really gives one a glimpse into the past as to what houses of this time period looked and felt like. Do not miss this attraction even though it is an additional fee to tour.
If you want to learn how the middle-class families of Ephesus lived, you should tour the terrace houses. You actually climb stairs and stand on clear, plexiglass landings so that you can look down on the lovely mosaics and paintings. It is difficult to imagine that these people had running water and heat in their houses until you actually see…
This is a key part to any visit to Ephesus. Sure you have to pay extra, but it's 100% worth it. Nowhere in the world can you see Roman houses like this. The mosaics are amazing!
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.

It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful city
I was very glad we choose private tour to ephesus. Thanks
Exceeded my expectations. The guide was Emrah, and extremely knowledgeable. This wasn’t someone doing this “gig” for a short time, or until something better came along. He had done it for a number of years and it showed. Incredible tour. Best one of the trip. I couldn’t more highly recommend this tour.
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
I highly recommend them, you will not regret it.
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
I sent emails asking for prices and options to create a private tour for our shore excursion. I was able to take a standard tour and customize it and it was less than half the price of the group tour shore excursion offered by our cruise. We met our private guide and driver as soon as we got off the ship. We first started with a drive out to the Virgin Mary’s House. Along the drive, we learned some interesting facts about the region and Turkey in general. Then, we reached Mary’s house and toured the site very interesting. Then it was off to Ephesus where we had a leisurely and informative tour through the amazing ruins. Make sure to get the added tour of the terrace houses. This is the most well preserved ancient ruins ever discovered.
Then it was off to St John’s Basilica and the Temple of Artimis to finish the tour. The tour was incredible and a highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend this private tour the price was very reasonable.
Our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and even adjusted the tour a bit to satisfy what we wanted to see. highly recommend it.
I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
These are a must. Well worth the extra, a bit of a climb, but the effort is rewarded. That the original owners moved house, or redecorated is illustrated by the original frescos covered by marble.
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. I am sorry I do not remember her name, but she was so considerate to us and to the elderly woman traveling with us. The tour of Ephesus was delightful and unforgettable for us. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable. The driver was a gentleman. All in all, a wonderful tour and one I would not hesitate to take again and recommend to others.
A good guide may be able to make this covered work in progress come alive. Great for archaeology buffs, but average people will just pay more money to see some square walls and a few bits of mosaic.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
Terrific tour, you will enjoy Epheus-Turkey so much more if you go on this tour.
so ancient yet so modern. the romans were indeed master builders felt we just didint have enough time.
Doing a tour with only 8 people was wonderful. Ephesus is gorgeous.
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
??????????????? ???????????????????????
we had a great trip thank you very much
We were amazed with the sophistication of the multi-level ancient houses. One large room was filled with tables full of small pieces of ruins, waiting to be assembled like a jigsaw puzzle. In one room, you saw an excavated window, while an adjacent window was still sealed with debris. Many colorful frescoes and mosaics remained.
Very good and stress free! Our guide picked us up from the port of kusadasi. Private tour is realy great way to see the ephesus and house of mary and learn alot of history. Thanks
had a wonderful time thank you
In Izmir, we were picked up right at the cruise ship at the appointed time and boarded a large van for just the four of us. You can book the tour on-line ahead of time, and you can pick and choose the sights you want to see. Overall, more reasonable than the ship tours, and a lot more flexibility, this tour company is great.
I highly recommend them, you will not regret it.
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
But we still liked it. Lots of stairs. Was nice to get out of the Turkish heat. Very different from the surrounding ruins.
We arrived by cruise ship and only had one day in Kusadasi Turkey so decided to make the most of it seeing everything we could in such a short time and we decided to book a privatetour of the ruins of Ephesus that included the terrace houses.
The terrace houses, currently in the process of being excavated, are covered by a structure that is out of place within the Ephesus archeological site. Excavation has been going on for at least 30 years, and it is fascinating to see pictures of what the site looked like in 1967.
The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
We toured Ephesus and were lucky to get to see the ruins on one of the "cooler" days. In other words, it was about 90 degrees instead of over 100.
The entire city is beautiful and it is amazing to see what people built so long ago. However, the Terrace Houses give a more understandable peak into of the people…
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
Fabulous. Great way to see the ephesus and house of mary and learn alot of history. Guide was very knowledgeable.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful city
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
We had a marvellous time. all the things and surprises they are really too amazing.
The tour was very reasonably priced compared to those offered by our cruise ship. We really appreciated the personal touch only afforded by a small group tour. I would strongly suggest that anyone traveling to Ephesus. You won’t be disappointed.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
I would definitely recommended, amazing
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
Thank you very much we really had a great time. Thanks
Clearly the most amazing part of our tour in Turkey. Not to be missed. We were in awe of the amazing effort that is being put in to restore this historical treasure. The people in our group ranged from 17 to 63 and everyone was blown away.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
Although some tour guide skip passed these terrace house, there a must see very well worth the cost. it's amazing how they lived and managed there life.
The line was incredible the day we were there so very happy we booked the tour. Well worth the money. Lunch was quite good also.
We really enjoyed the trip. Thank you very much
We had a very nice lunch there as part of the tour a super experience I highly recommend this tour
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
Several factors made this all day tour of Ephesus well worth the money. knowledgable guide, delicious lunch, and plenty of time to enjoy the sights. I recommend this tour.
Private Tours are the very Best way to Tour. Yesim was waiting right when we got off the ship. She spoke perfect english and answered all the questions that we had. She told us much of the information about Mother Mary’s Home and the Ruins before we got to them so that we could enjoy the experience without all the noise. After witnessing the Cruise Ship Bus Madness I was very glad we choose private tour. This was my favorite Tour of the Trip!
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
We paid extra to include the Terrace Houses. Some of the mosaics are very well preserved and they are gorgeous. Seeing these homes truly gives you a perspective of how those very wealthy people lived. They thought of every detail, including toilets and how they made their servants warm up the seat for them prior to using them.
a wonderful guide and a driver
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
There is a lot of walking so this would be a difficult tour for the elderly.
The driver was excellent.
we really had a great time. thanks
This was my third visit to Ephesus, but my first view of the Terrace Houses. There is an extra admission fee, and there are LOTS of steps inside the sight, but it is worth it. If nothing else, you get of the hot sun and the horde of crowds for a while.
It is well worth the extra to tour the Terrace houses while you are in Ephesus. This site is a working site and extremely interesting. Apparently where the richer people lived. There are , I think, 188 steps to climb, but it isnt all one climb so not that hard.
Small Group Day Trip to Ephesus was one of the highlights of our trip overseas. Having the small group was brilliant, as we didn’t have to wait in queues or line-ups and our driver and guide Selcuk was fantastic. He was very informative, professional and most helpful.
Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
This was an excellent tour of the ephesus. Our guide Emrah was excellent and very knowledgeable. We recommend the full day trip as it gives you plenty of time to see everything and the lunch was fantastic. Thank you.
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful and always timely with pick ups. It was a wonderful experience.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
We spoke to several people that didn't tour the Terrace Houses because of the additional fee. We absolutely felt that the Terrace Houses were worth the additional fee and were a highlight of our day in Ephasus. The houses and mosaics were incredibly interesting and impressive.
Thanks so much for the great day, and we hope to see you again
I have been to tons of ruins all over the world and in my opinion, these are the best I have ever seen. The way these houses are built into the hill and the fact that they have uncovered so much is truly amazing. You must be able to climb steep, narrow steps to visit here.
The terrace houses are amazingly well restored and preserved. The mosaics alone are worth the visit. Such an incredible find – only wish someone with more money would pay for more excavations nearby! Such a worthwhile site to visit!
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
Not just the history of what we were visiting, but the history of many topics!
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
Several factors made this all day tour of Ephesus well worth the money. knowledgable guide, delicious lunch, and plenty of time to enjoy the sights. I recommend this tour.
The best of all the tours we did. The AC van, guide, driver, and lunch excellent.
our guide was excellent. Turkish lunch very good. I would book another tour with you. thanks
We thoroughly enjoyed the ephesus tour. Tour guide was knowledgable and personable. Tour was amazing and highly recommended. A great day.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.
We enjoyed the whole trip and would do it again. Thanks
Our tour guide was lovely – she spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Thanks
Our tour guide was lovely – she spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Thanks
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
If you begin your tour of Ephesus early in the day, chances are, you will get to the terrace houses before the route through the exhibit becomes a train of shoulder to shoulder people. It's worth it just to see the amazing mosaics, in perfect condition and the frescoes on the walls of these ancient, wealthy homes.
Our Guide Tuna was wonderful. She did a very good job of preparing us for the ephesus trip with commentary, delivered us promptly and picked us up just as scheduled. Really great job. We would use again and recommend your service Thanks!
These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
our guide and we enjoyed the entire day very knowledgeable and made our tour special she is able to get you ahead of the bus loads of people coming to the sites saw alot of the countryside we otherwise would not have seen in a very comfortable setting the lunch outdoors was good and a nice way to experience this part of turkey
Touring the Terrace Houses was the the highlight of our visit to Ephesus. It was easy to imagine what life must have been like so many years ago for these wealthy Ephesians. And you can catch glimpses of what they really looked like! It was also interesting watching some of the restoration/ excavation that is ongoing.
had a wonderful time thank you
Excellent service, comfortable van and very professional guide who gave just the perfect amount of information. There were only 8 of us, so much nicer than crowding onto a large bus.
I had read the reviews before going and knew not to skip the Terrace Houses, but even my highest expectations were exceeded. The reviews had prepared me for long lines and a slow pace through but for whatever reason it was almost like we had the place to ourselves.
We started the day by visiting Ephesus and went into the back entrance, which was incredibly smart because it meant we were going against the crowds and that we had the wonderful amphitheater mostly to ourselves. Our price included all entrance fees, including into the Terrace Houses, which were definitely a highlight of the day and the House of Virgin Mary.
We enjoyed our day, learned a lot, and felt the price to be very fair. Many on our cruise ship simply took Royal Caribbean’s shore excursion and missed out on several of the things we saw…
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
Thank you very much for your recommendation.
The Virgin Mary’s home was interesting, but the tour of Ephesus was fascinating and very memorable. Fortunately our tour contact suggested we also visit the Terrace Homes, another great experience. Our guides were personable and gave us great insight into that period of time. We had a lunch of Turkish favorite dishes in a beautiful outdoor setting.
We had a terrific day our tour was flawlessly performed from start to finish.
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
My husband and I booked a halfday private tour. This tour company was extremely professional right from the beginning, with excellent information and service. We would highly recommend this company.

The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Within Ephesus there is an extra fee to visit the Terrace Houses and everyone should make this a part of their time in Ephesus if one really wants to understand the culture, how people lived, and the advances in technology (such as indoor plumbing) that had been made at that time. We had a private guide which was very reasonabl…
We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus. We had a great time. Thanks
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Well worth seeing, the mosaics (still visible) were amazing, and the layout of the houses (which had clay water pipes).
Don't skimp on this add-on to the Ephesus visit- it's really cool to see the homes, including some of the restored/in tact tiles.
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
Terrace Houses they are most impressive and unbelievable. They are the homes of the very rich of the day with indoor hot and cold water, heated homes, indoor bathrooms and even a sauna with heated floors. The lunch was awsome and got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thanks again
Regards to Yesim and many thanks for a super day.
Don`t cheap out- if you are going to Ephesus see the Terrace houses- an active archaeologic site well worth seeing.!

The price of our private tour was much less than the tours provided by our ship, The Norwegian Jade. It was a great tour.
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
The Terrace Houses are amazing. Our guide gave us a very nice little gift bag with some very thoughtful souvenirs(this never happened with our cruise tours) and brochures of other destinations in Turkey that look wonderful too. Thank you
My family and I visited Ephesus for the second time in two years, and we had a wonderful experience… Our guide Remzy was knowledgeable, accommodating, and did everything in his power to insure that we had a thoroughly enjoyable trip. While this was our second time to Ephesus, we learned so much more by being with him and listening to his explanation of the history of the area. To add further to our delight, he took us to a local Turkish restaurant for a traditional lunch that was delicious and very inexpensive. Overall, I would have to rate our experience as very satisfied and think that any group would be fortunate to have this tour. Additionally, we were met by a new and comfortable van with lots of space and a driver who was excellent.
On the whole Ephesus is a fantastic place to visit but my tour was disappointing due to a rushed timeline and missing attraction.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful, clean city!
Our guide was a great guide full of historical knowledge as well as answering questions about the land and people.
I especially liked the little village Sirence that we visited. The people were so friendly and the village gave us the opportunity to purchase gifts to take home that were handmade.
had a wonderful time thank you
Seeing how people lived nearly 2,000 years ago and how they took advantage of what must have been considered ultra-modern science is fascinating. The housing units, while literally piled atop one another, are still separate and distinct.
Perhaps the best thing about visiting the Terrace Houses, though, is that you find the only relief from the sun, as the entire…
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
We would definitely recommend this private tour
The price of our private tour was much less than the tours provided by our ship, The Norwegian Jade. It was a great tour.
Our guide was so informative and he was very funny making our experience so enjoyable!
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
The tour was very reasonably priced compared to those offered by our cruise ship. We really appreciated the personal touch only afforded by a small group tour. I would strongly suggest that anyone traveling to Ephesus. You won’t be disappointed.
Skydiving is one of the most amazing things I have ever done. If you like an adrenaline rush then you should definitely try this sport at least once in your life-time. Part of the experience is going with a good, safe, friendly business
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
had a wonderful time thank you
Awesome! Again, this is something that must be seen! Hard to imagine this type and size of city existed almost 2 thousand years ago. Many stairs and steps so be advised….

We spent a good amount of time at ancient ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go. There were many group tours that would crowd around their guide to get a glimpse of what he/she was pointing out. With a private tour, you are able to set the pace with your guide and skip what you aren’t that interested in. We also visited the House of the St Mary, Temple of Artemis. It was a full day that did not disappoint and well worth the expense.
Excellent. Pick up on time. Selcuk our guide, very knowledgeable. Fabulous lunch. Well done.
Great private tour. It really made visiting ephesus easy.door to door service. I took the deluxe full day tour which was very informative. There’s a lot to see and I’m glad I had a full day and a great guide.
This was an attraction I almost passed on, but my flight attendant recommended it. I am so glad I went! The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them!!! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
use this tour company they are very professional
Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
Travelled to turkey last week and decided to book a private tour for my family, it was excelled. Brilliant sites and ruins, tour guide spoke brilliant English and was a lot of fun.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
The best part of Ephesus and not to be missed.
The houses on the slopes in Ephesus
Def·i·nite·ly Worth It! An amazing renovation, well worth a visit !
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
Found our guide outside the port (amongst a dozen others) with him holding a sign with our names. We had a very knowledgeable English speaking guide + a driver in a spacious air conditioned minivan. Very interesting archeological site.
We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Ephesus and Sirence village with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
The Terrace Houses are part of Ephesus, the ancient ruins near Kusadasi, Turkey. Six 'townhouses' date from 1st century B.C. to 7th century A.D. The houses are covered by a giant metal (?) roof to protect the contents below. Catwalks allow you to walk just above the rooms and even through some rooms.
After visiting the House of Mary, we drove to the historic ruins at the city of Ephesus. We saw all the things on our wish list, plus things we did even know about. We left the ruins and went to a carpet factory and saw firsthand how the carpets are hand tied. Then we had lunch, in a lovely garden setting, featuring traditional Turkish dishes, delicious a private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
The team was absolutely fantastic.I definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thanks guys !!
we really had a great time. thanks
Very organized tour. The tour guide was great. Ephesus was beautiful. I would recommend this private tour to everyone.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
The Terrace houses within Ephesus are well worth the visit – work is still proceeding on the houses, as it is much of the site.

There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
This is a great tour. The car is new and clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
Thank you very much for your recommendation.
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.
Great private tour. Our guide Koksal was terrific and we were oicked up and dropped off at the port of Kusadasi. Definitely recommend.
Though the economically-built cover makes the visit comfortable, it really distracts from the visual enjoyment of these beautifully-preserved ruins. One can imagine the life of well-off families living here in those times. Taking photos here is facilitated by the well-planned elevated walkways. Carrying a small digital camera makes it easier to take some photos one-handed in between the scaffolds.
Restored by the Austrian and Turkish governments, these homes were for the top tier wealthy individuals that lived in Ephesus. They had running water, and sewer systems, very advanced for that era.
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
We had a marvellous time. all the things and surprises they are really too amazing.
We had a wonderful time on our tour of Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. Our guide, Yesim, was so nice and a very knowledgeable tour guide. There were only 7 of us on the tour and we really had a nice time meeting the other people on our tour.
Terrace Houses
Highly recommend a visit to Terrace Houses in Ephesus !
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.

The Terrace Houses, though not part of the regular tour, are well worth the cost to visit. The frescos and the tiled floors are great. impressive is that the plumbing from over 2500 years ago still works!!!!
On the whole Ephesus is a fantastic place to visit but my tour was disappointing due to a rushed timeline and missing attraction.
Loved Ephesus itself, its well worth any visit! The terrace houses are interesting and so its good to confirm that portion of the tour is included.
The group had a great time in Ephesus. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
well worth the money!!!

We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
Best tour ever! So much to see and our guide was the absolute best very well spoken and she was an archeologist she really knew her facts.
You will not regret this at all amazing houses, marble facades, frescoed walls and mosaics.
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money. Thank you very much.
The painted walls, tiled floors and many more details are there to see. You can actually walked through the excavation and recovered homes. A must see.
I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
These houses are an extra cost while walking through the ruins of Ephesus. The houses are so well preserved it is simply amazing. Murals, paintings and many other things are preserved in such a way the houses look very close to how they did over 2000 years ago.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour. Our tour guide Yesim was great! She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had. Even though it was very crowded in Ephesus, Yesim seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived! We would definitely recommend this company and tour guide, and Turkey of course!
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
They call it the worlds largest jigsaw puzzle, but little by little they are getting it done. What an amazing accomplishment! It gives great insight into the lives of the people of Ephesus. Take at least an hour just for the houses.
This tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..
House of Mary and Ephesus was more than we imagined great tour guide Sinan. fantastic day from start to finish lunch was excellent great memories.

thank you for a wonderful tour of ephesus it truly was the best part of my vacation.
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
We really enjoyed the trip. Thank you very much
had a wonderful time thank you
Really neat place. Some of the colors on the walls are stil present which was neat. It was also soooooo hot it was nice to get into the shade. This was a big place. It does have stairs as you climb up everything. Excavaition underway makes this a really neat place.
We had a wonderful time and everything was a great.
This was well worth the money. Emrah was the bet tour guide. Very professional (he was in a suit) and so very nice and friendly. All in all this was the best tour we did.
I highly recommend them, you will not regret it.
Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
It is worth paying extra for the extra terrace. They have done a lot of work to recreate the Roman houses and you can omagine the people who would be living there.
If you have traveled all the way to Ephesus, it would be a shame to miss the Terrace Houses. Take the time. Spend a little more. You will be awed at the refinement and cosmopolitan nature of the homes of these ancient people. The decor and efficiency in the living areas bring a new perspective to the appreciation of these…
Be prepared to climb lots of stairs, however well worth it!
To see their rooms with colourful wall paper similar to how we would decorate was mind blowing!
We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour.
unforgettable day. thanks
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
Thanks
We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour.
When we visited Ephesus, we made sure to book a tour that included the Terrace Houses as we were told they were not to be missed. We were certainly not disappointed. The houses are beautifully preserved and have a igneous set up of see through platforms and stairs which allow you to see all aspects of the ruins.
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
Ephesus was our favorite port of call. Our guide was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about everything from antiquities, to agriculture, and even funny the tour is much less expensive than the ship offerings and far superior in terms of attention.
unforgettable day. thanks
This was one of the best and most economical tours of our cruise and we certainly recommend that anyone visiting kusadasi consider this tour.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
Exceptional tour with Turkey and Ephesus Vision. Great and well informed guide with small group of 5. Delightful lunch at restaurant. Dropped back the port of kusadasi fabulous day.
Wonderful! Yesim was a great guide. Loved everyone minute of it.
With an additional cost and quite a high one and that I was happy to give the Terrace Houses a miss. After all the highlight was no doubt the Celsus Library and nothing would beat that. Eventually, I decided I'd go in with my friend, rather than wait around in the searing heat.
Very organized tour. The tour guide was great. Ephesus was beautiful. I would recommend this private tour to everyone.
we had a great trip thank you very much
In my opinion, this is the only way to see Ephesus. Would totally recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Ephesus. well worth the money
The best of all the tours we did. The AC van, guide, driver, and lunch excellent.
This is good value for money, we were picked up and dropped off to the port. Our mistake was only taking the half day tour. Ephesus only needs a minimum 4 hour.

We chose a private guided tour rather than a ship excursion and would highly recommend the deluxe ephesus fullday tour.
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
Regards to Yesim and many thanks for a super day.
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
I enjoyed the Terrace Houses, and it is worth the extra money to see the dig in progress and the uncovered mosaics. If you are not overly interested in either of these, its a site you can miss and enjoy the incredible ruins of Ephesus around it. Note that there are an awful lot of stairs to climb !
This tour was less than the cruise tour. we had a fab..time. thx
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
Our tour guide was lovely – she spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Thanks
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
Great private tour. Our guide Koksal was terrific and we were oicked up and dropped off at the port of Kusadasi. Definitely recommend.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
Easily the most interesting ancient site I've ever seen. The extra cost is well worth the money. A super glimpse into ancient (upper class) living.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Terrific tour, you will enjoy Epheus-Turkey so much more if you go on this tour.
I think a tour in Ephesus must include the terrace houses. They explain so much about daily living and the truly advanced accommodations available in those ancient days. Hot running water in the baths, beautiful paintings on the walls. There is still much to be excavated…very interesting. It was crowded and a lot of stairs, but worth it!
Ephesus tours was fantastic.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but was blown away from what I saw. These buildings were extremely well preserved and it was neat to see some of the restorers at work on the frescoes. The area is enclosed to help preserve it and you are able to walk on a glass staircase throughout the ruins. The frescoes and mosaics…
This is a relatively new museum, and very well organized. For any folks who have been to Pompeii, or Herculaneum, or Ostia Antica outside of Rome expect similar delights at The Terrace Houses. If you are planning to visit Ephesus, do include this museum in your visit. The mosaics alone make the visit well worth it.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. We had a great time!
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
Very interesting and informative trip. The tour guide was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable in the history of ephesus. Highly recommend this!
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
If you are visiting Ancient Ephesus and get a chance to tour the Terrace Houses, do so. They are well worth a visit, as they are extremely well preserved, and give a good idea how the wealthier citizens lived.
The houses are located inside Ancient Ephesus, but there is a separate admission charge.
We had a wonderful time and thank you so much for everything.
The van was comfortable, the driver was careful it was a wonderful experience.
my children and I had a great time thank you
There were 6 adults in our group. They picked us up at port they will bringing the wheelchair with. Very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. We had our own personal tour of Ephesus then a wonderful lunch. The site is difficult for wheelchairs due to the uneven marble road.
We have travelled a lot but we have never used a tour guide before so we were a little skeptical. We also had an offer from another tour operator and it was pretty much the same price. We had a fantastic day, It was amazing.
well worth to visit, the terrace houses are interestin. loved ephesus itself.
If you book for Ephesus tour ask your travel agency to include Terrace Houses! Otherwise it means nothing
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
Thanks so much for the great day
a wonderful guide and a driver
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
An excellent experience and one I would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a gift for someone interested in microlight aviaition.
Highly recommended !
lunch was great, ephesus was a great place to visit we had a wonderful day.
unforgettable day. thanks
Travelled to turkey last week and decided to book a private tour for my family, it was excelled. Brilliant sites and ruins, tour guide spoke brilliant English and was a lot of fun.
Driver was very friendly and knowledgable
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
Gunes was an excellent guide. We had a lovely day lunch was very good, and the group really enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended and I hope you get Gunes!
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Booking in advance was painless and all questions and emails were answered promptly.
Interesting but the works have not been finished yet so not much to see. Your guide will tell you more info on them though
Great private day tour. Highly recommend.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
This was the perfect tour to see all of Ephesus in a limited amount of time.
We had a very nice lunch there as part of the tour a super experience I highly recommend this tour
Done a day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
thank you so much for an amazing trip
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks
Outstanding! this seemed like an expensive side trip but it was worth every cent. Highly Recommended.
Worth the extra money as it shows the workers excavating and how advanced the culture was at the time.
Ephesus is crowded at the best of times, but because there is an extra charge for the terraced houses, many people ignore them. As a result they can be peaceful and they are very beautiful. It is as though the people left the houses in the 1960's rather than 4th Century AD.
We used this tour instead of booking a tour through the cruise company. We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus and The Virgin Mary’s house. We were also taken to a carpet maker to see how carpets were made and lunch. The carpet demonstration was interesting however, I did feel uncomfortable not making a purchase.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. We had a great time!
The best of all the tours we did. The AC van, guide, driver, and lunch excellent.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
our ephesus tour was one of the highlights
We chose a private guided tour rather than a ship excursion and “I Would Definitely Recommend”
Terrace Houses was great,
What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful city
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
I have never had a better tour guide than Selcuk Senkan. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable.
So beautiful! Pay the extra money and enjoy this amazing architecture and tile floors. Interesting to see the excavation work continue as well.
Thank you very much for the Mystery Tours
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
The Terrace Houses are a must see for those of us who love to learn. The beauty of the architecture, design, and art, give us a glimpse into the lives of the people living in the thriving city of Ephesus, 2000 years ago. The excavations are amazing, and a favorite site for everyone in our party.
I booked a private tour for 8 people for a one day cruise stop in November, at the port of izmir my booking was done through email.
The tour of the Ancient City of Ephesus and the Terrace houses was incredible. A fabulous day! Thank you.
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..
this is an interesting site, because it is residential, not the municipal buildings that one usually sees. Very beautiful, well protected, and take a guide or get an audio one. very cool
Thank you very much for the most wonderful day.

I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
We will definitely be back to Turkey! Thank you very much we really had a great time.
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
Excellent tour and yesim was a wonderful guide!
The best of all the tours we did. The AC van, guide, driver, and lunch excellent.
Slope Houses ( Terrace Houses )
Slope Houses in Ephesus is Absolutely A·Maz·Ing !

It was really neat to see how the wealthy lived centuries ago- with frescoes on their walls and mosaics on their floors. One house had its own chapel. Well worth seeing.
The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
This was one of the best and most economical tours of our cruise and we certainly recommend that anyone visiting kusadasi consider this tour.
Our day went perfectly, our guide was open and flexible to letting us tour at our own pace and we always seemed at least two steps ahead of the large tour groups..
Absolutely amazing tour tour guide selcuk was incredibly knowledgeable interesting, informative and personable. He made the day thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour and thank you for such a wonderful way to see this impressive famous ephesus.
Our day went perfectly, our guide was open and flexible to letting us tour at our own pace and we always seemed at least two steps ahead of the large tour groups..
Great private day tour. Highly recommend.
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
We had a terrific day our tour was flawlessly performed from start to finish.
This is must see while in Ephesus and its still being explored and excavated.
INCREDIBLE!! If you are in Epheses you MUST add this to your tour. Absolutely breathtaking.
Ephesus was a great place to visit whe have a wonderful day.
Thank you very much for a lovely day. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The vehicle was impeccable.
The tour began at approximately 8:30 and we were told it would be approximately 5 hours. We did not arrive back to port until after 2:30, so it made for a very long day.
well worth to visit, the terrace houses are interestin. loved ephesus itself.
we really had a great time. thanks
Done a half day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.
These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
I sent emails asking for prices and options to create a private tour for our shore excursion. Trip was great. Our driver was very personable.
I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Booking in advance was painless and all questions and emails were answered promptly.
highly recommend..
If you like action, you have to get this experience !! It was amazing. I took a viev of Ephesus, Selcuk, Pamucak beach,
Temple of Artemis, House of Virgin Mary and Basilica of St.John…It was really fantastic.
We would definitely recommend this private tour
Thank you very much to you and yesim.
Highly recommend for his expertise and a positive can do attitude. The shops are generally too small to allow a wheelchair inside, but some goods are displayed outside.
Excellent ! Was an interesting experience.
Must must see….go inside the ancient homes of the Rich and Famous…
I would highly recommend great experience to anyone, and I am pleased to say that I had a great time
We had a wonderful time and thank you so much for everything.
A great way to see Ephesus on a budget. Highly recommended.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful, clean city!
Our guide was a great guide full of historical knowledge as well as answering questions about the land and people.
I especially liked the little village Sirence that we visited. The people were so friendly and the village gave us the opportunity to purchase gifts to take home that were handmade…
This is a separate fee from the city but well worth it and it's shaded so it's a nice relief from the heat.
We opted to include the Terrace Houses in our visit to Ephesus and felt that it was very worthwhile. We did have a guide to explain everything , and I would highly recommend this – we often venture out on our own, but really feel that we wouldn't have enjoyed Ephesus (and Terrace Houses) nearly as much without a guide.
Our tour guide was waiting for us when our ship docked at kusudasi. We rode in a mercedes minivan for a 30 minute drive to Ephesus we spent a good amount of time at ephesus and house of terraces and I can tell you, a private tour is the way to go.
Great tour, excellent guide, fantastic would highly recommend
Definitely worth the money to get the private tour.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Walking on the colorful Roman Mosaics of Terrace Houses the thing that i love as a history lover. I certainly suggest you to visit Terrace Houses!
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
Thanks so much for the great day, and we hope to see you again
We had a wonderful time on our tour of Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. Our guide, Yesim, was so nice and a very knowledgeable tour guide. There were only 7 of us on the tour and we really had a nice time meeting the other people on our tour.
navyyy
We started the day by visiting Ephesus and went into the back entrance, which was incredibly smart because it meant we were going against the crowds and that we had the wonderful amphitheater mostly to ourselves. Our price included all entrance fees, including into the Terrace Houses, which were definitely a highlight of the day and the House of Virgin Mary.
We enjoyed our day, learned a lot, and felt the price to be very fair. Many on our cruise ship simply took Royal Caribbean’s shore excursion and missed out on several of the things we saw…
This is an extra cost but well worth it. This magnificent excavation just blew me away with how much was preserved. Also being under a sun roof it was a great break from the heat.
We really felt that this tour was well worth the money, and would highly recommend Koksal as a guide.
By far the best part of Ephesus. Ms. Arzu from aboutephesus.com was our guide and she gave us a thorough and interesting look into real life in the ancient past.
a wonderful guide and a driver
our guide yesim efficiently guided us through the crowds making sure that our small group of 8 arrived before the larger buses thus allowing us to get the full experience. our lunch at the carpet school was both tasty and enlightening none of us actually understood the process of collecting silk or the painstaking job of making those beautiful works of art. We wish that we were there to purchase but not this time.
I was especially enamored with the library ruins.
well worth the money!!!
Definitely worth the money to get the private tour.
We would definitely recommend this private tour
The Terrace Houses are the ancient version of condos. Archealogists have found work reassembling the floor mosaics the tiles are laid out on huge tables like jigsaw puzzle pieces, and they have uncovered ancient wall murals reminiscent of soothing wallpaper.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks
It could not have been a better choice for us. There were no surprises we had a great time.
we had a great trip thank you very much
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
Worth taking.

Those with air sick, please prepare yourself before going on this Microlight tour !
Our visit to ephesus was great as well as educational made possible by our terrific tour guide personality as well as her mastery of the English language made the day a delightful one. We wish we could have her for all the tours we take!!
I wasn't sure what to expect but this place was amazing! It's fascinating to see how homes were in ancient times and all the time and effort used in excavation but the sights it yields. I would reccomendation this! Even the kids we were with – 9-14 enjoyed it.
We were there some 25 years ago. Terrace houses were not dug up then, it was amazing to see them on our last visit.

I was amazed at the precision and focus needed to put together these houses. So hard to beleive. i will warn you that there alot of stairs to climb to view the entire exhibit, however our personal guide from ephesustoursguide.com arranged with the manangement for us to only tour half so my Mom wouldnt have to climb so many.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
Thank you Yesim for an incredible time. Thanks
The van was very nice and huge for passengers.
Yesim was interesting, informative and a wonderful guide. Our entire family enjoyed the day. Yesim made adjustments for our daughter’s unexpected injury and wheelchair. We could not have seen ephesus on our own because of logistics and in hindsight we are glad we booked the day trip. Our three teenagers had fun and we were glad to hear Yesim explanations.
If you've come this far to Ephesus, it would be a shame to miss these. Although not an overly large site, it is very interesting. The stairs go up gradually in the sense that there are platforms at several points to stop at, which makes it easier for those with walking difficulties. I would highly recommend having a tour guide…
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
